Payroll Specialist
Pay Up to $24.00 per hour

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist & Scheduling Duties
What You Will Do
Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures
Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
Prepare reports for management review
Assist with benefits administration
Duties as assigned
Develop, manage, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Med Techs)
Manage the reduction of overtime, and ensure timekeeping accuracy
Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility staffing requirements for all shifts
Respond promptly to call-outs and find appropriate coverage to avoid staffing gaps
Support new employee onboarding by coordinating orientation schedules and shadowing/preceptor shifts
What You Must Have
Proven experience in payroll processing, accounting, or related field
Proficiency in payroll systems and timekeeping platforms (experience with Paycom, ADP, or similar preferred)
Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Experience with government or healthcare payroll is a plus
