The Assistant Property Manager will support the management of residential properties, working closely with a medium-sized team of 4-7 members. This role focuses on maintaining tenant relations, overseeing lease administration, coordinating property maintenance, managing vendors, and assisting with rent collection and inspections. The ideal candidate is skilled in using property management software like Yardi and excels in communication and organizational abilities.

 

Responsibilities

• Manage tenant relations to ensure satisfaction and prompt issue resolution
• Administer lease agreements and maintain accurate lease documentation
• Maintain physical appearance and operational function of the property to company standards
• Coordinate property maintenance and vendor services effectively
• Oversee rent collection processes and follow up on delinquencies
• Support property inspections and compliance monitoring
• Monitor regulatory compliance and assist in reporting
• Collaborate with a medium team to achieve property management goals

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property management
• Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
• Proficient in using property management software, specifically Yardi
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Experience coordinating vendors and managing lease documentation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
