Manager, Regional Safety

The Regional Operations Safety Leader will provide regional safety leadership as directed by the Operations Safety Manager and aligned with the RVP. This employee will help align operations with Lincare safety policy and the annual safety metrics performance strategy. They will contribute by focusing the operations organization to achieve a safety culture which exemplifies the Lincare safety policy; this will include leadership driving organizational accountability and will be positioned to enhance the safety value system of leaders. Responsibilities Analyze measures and metrics to adequately provide appropriate levels of feedback to drive the safety performance of the business Review multiple avenues of feedback to identify and communicate risk across the four regions of operation Lead the Regional Safety leaders and Safety Trainers to establish a standard of operation that meets the Lincare safety policies and annual safety goals Identify gaps between corporate safety policy and business practices through ongoing management of a business group safety plan that supports the corporate safety vision, as well as the business plan Communicate and manage gaps in resources within the business safety group and operations leadership with business leadership in conjunction with the Safety Director Share safety best practices to enable a higher standard of safe and environmentally friendly work and help mature a learning culture Aid the business unit in reporting efforts during safety-related emergency events while advocating for resources for stability and recovery Interface with external agencies in reporting, permitting, compliance demonstration, and program development activities Focus business growth initiatives and operational change through a grounded safety approach Lead the safety policy qualifications process to standardize messaging and accountability with Center Managers and Area Managers to ensure safety remains the number one objective Ensure the business supports safety policy through appropriate staffing of subject matter experts for all high-level safety functions within the operations team Ensure all sites are managed with appropriate Safety Trainers and safety support, utilizing calendars and travel schedules of all Regional Safety Leaders and safety Trainers to maintain a conscious awareness of safety compliance with a focus on Operations understanding, value, and practice of Lincare Safety Policy #J-18808-Ljbffr Lincare
