Financial Controller

Location: Langley, British Columbia

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: CAD $70,000 $75,000 per annum

We are hiring a Financial Controller to join our accounting team based in Langley, British Columbia. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in Financial Accounting and Public Practice.

The role is completely onsite initially, with a hybrid work arrangement after one year.

• Manage Financial Accounting activities.
• Handle bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Process payroll.
• Perform month-end and year-end accounting activities.
• Work with accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite.
• Support Canadian and US accounting requirements where applicable.

• Financial Accounting (FA) experience is mandatory.
• Public Practice experience is mandatory.
• Relevant accounting experience from Canada or the candidate's home country will be considered.
• Experience with Canadian and/or US accounting is preferred.
• CPA qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, payroll, bookkeeping, AP/AR, and month-end/year-end accounting.

• Completely onsite initially.
• Hybrid work arrangement after one year.

Candidates must have valid Canadian work authorization. No Sponsorship will be provided

• Technical interview with the Director of Operations (DOO).
• Final interview with the CEO.

Target joining timeline is approximately one month, ideally within September 2026.
