FID Systems AnalystFID Edinburg Location - Edinburg, TX 78539OverviewPosition Type Full TimeDescriptionJOB SUMMARYPerforms in-depth system tests as assigned by an FID Supervisor or the FID Data & Systems Manager to support the various areas in the department with system questions.ESSENTIAL DUTIESPerforms in-depth system tests as assigned by an FID Supervisor or the FID Data & Systems Manager to support the various areas in the department with system questionsMaintains appropriate levels of documentation regarding system changes and updatesAssists with special projects and technical reports for resolving problemsProvides progress reports and recommending actions as requestedRecommends new controls by identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement regarding processes and proceduresParticipates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessaryMaintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policyMaintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operationsMaintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AMLQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSA self-starting team player who possesses a High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 4 years' banking experienceA four year college degree from an accredited college or university and prior experience working with Jack Henry, VERTEX and Yellow Hammer are preferredBasic keyboarding, typing 40-50 wpm and office equipmentStrong knowledge of personal computers and familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet softwareProficient with queries using multiple software systemsAttention to detail and a high degree of mental concentration for performing multiple tasks with numerous interruptionsExcellent organizational, verbal and written communication and customer relations skillsAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesBilingual in English and Spanish is desiredORGANIZATIONThis position reports to the FID Data & Systems ManagerThis position does not oversee other positionsTRAINING REQUIREMENTSAll employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures.
