This is a franchise position.

*This position MAY or MAY NOT be available for this particular location. We are accepting applications from all qualified individuals for several locations and positions.  If hired, the applicant will be placed in a store with the rate and position that best fits both the applicant and franchise.  Once trained up to a general manager position, pay will be switched to a salary with full benefits based on experience.

Our General Managers assume responsibility for ALL functions of a Papa Johns restaurant to ensure high-quality products and customer service are delivered while maximizing our profits! This is accomplished by being a self-sufficient leader, making quality decisions, and instilling pride and accountability in team members.

Other responsibilities include managing the operations, including executing all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems while complying with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.

Our General Managers build a system of quality with team members, which ensures each product delivered meets Papa John's standards and accurately reflects the customer's order. He/she promptly responds to all customer concerns and issues and solicits customer and team member feedback to improve restaurant operations and build brand loyalty.

He/she will actively recruit customer-focused team members, maintain adequate staffing levels according to projected sales, and properly orient and train team members to exceed customer expectations. Managers will build an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun!

Our managers manage profit goals and ensure food, labor, and other controllable costs stay within budget and correct deviations by accurately using the PROFIT System. He/she will manage the company's assets by keeping the restaurant clean, fully equipped, and all equipment maintained.

Key Ingredients:

• High school diploma or GED

• ServSafe/Local or State Food Service Certification

• Two years of restaurant management or supervision experience

• Skills: cash management, planning, organization, cleanliness, effective communication

Hiring is based on specific qualifications and experience. A training period may be necessary before starting in the GM position.
