Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a Part-Time Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Houston, TX 77092 area .
This is a Hybrid role.
Pay:
$25.00 hourly. We pay weekly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks is required.
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with multiple companies or related entities is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Schedule:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Weekly hours: Approximately 25–30 hours
- Work arrangement: In-office twice a week, potentially fully on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, aging reports, and collections.
- Manage accounts payable, including invoice entry, approvals, payment preparation, and vendor communication.
- Research and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Assist with bank and credit-card reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
- Prepare weekly reports on receivables, payables, upcoming expenses, and cash flow.
- Assist with month-end closing, tax preparation, and other accounting needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and communicate any discrepancies or concerns to management.
