Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code to determine machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to dimensional tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operation or part quality.
• Select and load appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• Experience with various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and inspection techniques.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and identify potential issues.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam)
• Proficiency in performing preventative maintenance on CNC machinery
• Ability to program CNC machines directly at the control (G-code)
• Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
