- Emergency MedicineÂ
- Will take ABEM or ABIM/ABFM
Coverage Needs :
- Need ASAP - Ongoing
- Must be able to cover 3+ shifts per month
- Must be open to days and nightsÂ
- Have 10-12 shifts per month to coverÂ
Shifts: Â
- 7a - 7p or 7p-7a
Setting:Â
- Critical Access HospitalÂ
- Level 3 trauma centerÂ
- Medium acuity
Census:
- 10 ED beds
- 28k annual ED volume
Support Staff: Â
- 24 hours of physician coverage daily
Procedures: Â
- All Standard ER proceduresÂ
- Specialty services: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Pulmonary, Urology, Gastroenterology, ICU, Ortho, Psych, Radiology & Diagnostic Imaging, General Surgery
EMR: Â
- Cerner
Board Certification:Â
- Board Certified RequiredÂ
Travel: Â
- Hospital will cover
Credentialing timeline:
- Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAPÂ startÂ
Requirements:
- Active LAÂ state license
- Active DEA in LAÂ or willing to transferÂ
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS
