This inpatient facility supports adult cardiac anesthesia services with the staffing and clinical infrastructure necessary to deliver anesthesia coverage across designated service lines. The facility maintains on-site operational protocols to support scheduled and urgent cardiac procedures. Clinical resources are in place to ensure appropriate coverage throughout all assigned periods.

Southeastern Arizona offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions throughout the region. Natural landmarks include Saguaro National Park, Sabino Canyon, and Kartchner Caverns State Park, along with opportunities for hiking, biking, and stargazing across the Sonoran Desert and surrounding canyon areas. Cultural destinations include the Pima Air and Space Museum, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, and the Tombstone Historic District, providing diverse leisure options during time away from clinical duties.

The adult cardiac anesthesiologist will provide inpatient anesthesia coverage through 8-hour day shifts combined with night call and weekend call rotations. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and on-site availability must be maintained throughout all designated coverage periods. The clinician will manage adult cardiac surgical cases with on-site presence to ensure continuity of care.
