HR Generalist

Job Description The HR Generalist position serves as the primary HR partner for their assigned regions, supporting our operations managers across all assigned venues. This individual has been a part of a growing organization and is results-driven, collaborative, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn and grow. This role is 100% on-site in Austin, TX. Candidates must be based in the Austin area, or in the process of moving to the area. Job Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting management positions in assigned Regions, and support Managers with their hourly Team Member staffing needs. Serve as a trusted HR resource for Regional Directors, Managers, and Team Members, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace concerns. Manage Team Member relations issues across assigned regions, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution, aligned with company policy and employment law. Maintain accurate HR data within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity across multiple locations and states. Prepare and analyze HR reports, utilizing Excel and HRIS (Paycor) to support decision-making. Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks. Create, maintain, and analyze HR reports and dashboards (e.g., headcount, turnover, engagement, compensation, compliance). Support HR Team with processes, including but not limited to payroll, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, Workers Comp, LOAs, and accommodations. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills Hands‑on, dependable, and takes ownership of responsibilities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Thorough knowledge of employment‑related laws and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating and maintaining reports, using formulas, and analyzing metrics. Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems. Team player with an upbeat, positive attitude. Education & Experience 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity. Experience supporting multiple locations and/or regions. Certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Ability to travel at least 30% of the time.
