Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist - $2,085 per week

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Charlotte, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The Respiratory Therapist (RT) position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services within an adult-only facility that treats a high patient volume. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers the opportunity to float to multiple facilities within the region as needed, with shifts scheduled on a 6-week cycle. Job Details: Schedule: Weekend rotation every other week; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week; no call. Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, North Carolina Licensure, and at least 2 years of experience in ICU, Emergency Department, or Progressive care units. Preferred Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (Peds RT) specialization preferred but optional. Support within the Department: Leadership support available. Technology/Equipment: Department-specific equipment including Servo ventilators, Nitric Oxide delivery systems, Volara, Airvo 2, and Synclare. Floating: Will be required to float based on region needs to facilities within the designated region, with travel paid if floating mid-shift within scope of practice. Orientation: New hires will undergo a 2-day departmental orientation and a neo-natal orientation. Other notes: Scrub color is Royal Blue; free parking in designated deck; the department culture is described as a small family. Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
