CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist (3rd Shift)A Canton, Ohio area manufacturing company seeks to hire experienced CNC Machinists who are capable of setting-up, programming / editing, and operating various CNC Lathes & Milling Machines.Responsibilities:Set-up and operate various CNC Lathes and Milling Machines.Perform CNC programming and on-site editing (G-Code) to ensure parts meet specifications.Inspect finished components using micrometers (inside/outside/depth), calipers (dial/digital), indicators (thousands/tenths), and profilometers.Read and interpret blueprints, hand sketches, and schematics utilizing GD&T standardsLoad materials and perform necessary tooling changes to maintain production flowRequirements:High School Diploma or GED required. Additional Vocational, Technical, or Trade School certification in CNC Machining is highly preferredMinimum of (2) years of experience on finishing lathes AND (2) years of experience on milling machinesOEM-specific certifications (e.g., Haas, Mazak, and/or FujiProficiency in reading G-Code and fundamental knowledge of CAD/CAM softwareExperience programming and editing Lathe CAM programsStrong math skills (specifically converting decimals to fractions)Strong documentation skills and the ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructionsBenefits:100% Company-Paid Medical, Dental, & Vision InsuranceCompany-sponsored Life Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO) and Paid HolidaysCandidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
