CNC Machinist

Direct Hire OpportunityLocation: Canton, OHPay Rate: Up to $26.50/hour based on experienceHours: Afternoon shift, 2:00PM to 10:00PM, Monday – Friday, with some half days on Saturday as neededDuties/ResponsibilitiesResponsible for changing out cutters on Milling machines.Responsible for turning necks, facing, centering, etc on Lathe machines.Perform all tool changes on machines.Monitor CNC machine operation carefully to uphold close tolerances.Use of Jib cranes and dollies.Dislodge chips and handle chip pusher.Utilize check sheet for preventative maintenance.Check off paperwork associated with each job.Keep area clean, swept, and clear of debris, etc.Skills/QualificationsPrevious experience setting up and operating CNC Machines.Must be able to move 50 lbs of material on a regular basis, with occasional 90 lbs of lifting.Must have one year of Manual Lathe experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentWill be subject to pre-employment drug and background screening.Company Benefits Include:Medical, dental, & vision plans401k plan with matchHoliday PayPaid vacationNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
