Sr. Accounting Associate

Sr. Accounting Associate – The Auto Club Group Perform accounting functions related to the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of subsidiary and general ledger accounts. Review invoices for compliance, detect duplicate payments and fraud, verify disbursement data, and enter invoice data into the automated system. Analyze computer output for discrepancies, initiate corrective actions, reconcile ledgers, and ensure accurate account balances. Allocate operating expenses, maintain records, prepare periodic reports, and manage disbursements in accordance with vendor terms. Research inquiries, resolve discrepancies, respond to vendor and member questions, conduct audits, and provide same‑day turnaround on rush documents. Process billing and cash receipts, commission payments, and premium refunds. Benefits Competitive hourly rate of $25–$26 with annual bonus potential. Required Qualifications Intermediate college‑level coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Basic data processing with attention to detail and self‑audit skills. Experience with automated accounting systems and spreadsheet software. High‑volume invoice data entry and research of invoices and payments. Experience working with an integrated A/P purchasing system. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Strong mathematical calculation skills and effective oral and written communication. Excellent organization, planning, and problem‑solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Minimum two years of Accounts Payable processing experience. Knowledge of ACH, wire, and check payment processing methodologies. Work Environment This is a hybrid work arrangement. Employees will spend time in the office and remotely, with office attendance for key meetings and collaborative activities as determined by leadership.
