No matter where you are in the world, this is your chance to be part of something exceptional.Technical Architect – Retail PlanningLocation: Remote – North AmericaDepartment: Professional Services – PlanningAbout the RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of Centric Planning solutions for some of North America’s leading retailers.As the technical authority on customer implementations, you’ll design scalable solution architectures, oversee integrations, mentor consultants, and work closely with Product Engineering, Solution Architects and customers to ensure successful deployments.This role combines technical leadership with hands-on architecture, integration design and customer engagement.What You’ll DoLead the technical architecture for Centric Planning implementationsDesign scalable, secure and high-performing solution architecturesDefine integration strategies between Centric Planning, ERP, data warehouses and third-party applicationsCreate and review technical design documentation and integration blueprintsGuide customers on architecture best practices and deployment strategiesProvide technical leadership throughout implementation projectsMentor consultants and technical team membersPartner with Product Engineering to resolve complex technical challengesSupport software installation, configuration, upgrades and performance optimizationPromote technical standards, reusable frameworks and implementation best practicesParticipate in solution sizing, technical discovery and pre-sales activitiesDrive continuous improvement across delivery methodologies and technical standardsWhat We’re Looking ForDegree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)7+ years in enterprise software implementation or solution architectureStrong SQL Server knowledge and database design experienceExperience designing enterprise system integrations using APIs and ETL technologiesExperience with Microsoft AzureUnderstanding of retail planning, merchandise planning or supply chain systemsExperience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics is desirablePower BI experience is a plusExcellent communication and customer-facing consulting skillsAbility to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholdersSuccess in this RoleYou’ll be successful if you:Think strategically while remaining hands-on technicallyEnjoy solving complex integration challengesBuild trusted relationships with customersMentor and elevate those around youDrive technical excellence across every implementationCentric Software provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status or genetic information.
