Accounts Payable Associate | Temp-to-Hire

New City, NY area | Fully on-site

Monday – Friday | 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Process high volumes of invoices accurately and on time
• Identify and escalate discrepancies, including quantity, pricing, and tax issues
• Support invoice validation, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Partner with Supply Chain and Receiving teams to resolve PO-related issues
• Build vendor relationships and respond to payment inquiries
• Utilize technology and automation tools to improve AP efficiency
• Ensure compliance with fraud prevention and vendor verification procedures
• Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or related field
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• SAP and Concur experience a plus
• Accounts Payable experience preferred but open to entry level accounting grads with some internship experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• High degree of attention to detail while processing large volume of invoices and heavy email correspondence.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong analytical abilities
