Director, Project Development — Utility-Scale Wind & Renewables | Greater Boston As Director, Project Development you will drive greenfield wind and renewable generation projects from origination through execution. This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility role for a renewables development leader who knows how to navigate ISO markets, state RPS frameworks, and the full lifecycle of utility‑scale project development — and who wants ownership over outcomes, not just process. What you’ll own Lead site selection, permitting, and execution of greenfield wind and renewable projects Negotiate development agreements and structure commercial offtake relationships Build local community support and manage external stakeholder relationships Direct cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, finance, origination, legal, and asset management Report directly to the VP, Renewable Energy — with real influence on project strategy What you bring 7+ years in energy project development, with a proven track record bringing wind projects to fruition Deep fluency in US power markets, ISO operating rules, and renewable incentive structures Bachelor's degree (engineering or business); MBA a plus A self‑starter's mindset — comfortable owning ambiguity and driving projects independently Why this role Growing IPP, backed by international energy investment and operating across the US power markets.
