Northwell Health is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine Physician for an academic opportunity in Kingston, NY, affiliated with Northern Dutchess Hospital. This role involves working with Family Medicine residents, developing continuing medical education, and providing comprehensive care in a busy and growing practice. Practice Info Work with Family Medicine residents Employed outpatient practices utilize a hospitalist program for in-patient admissions New multispecialty center in Kingston brings together primary care providers, OB/GYN, imaging, Rheumatology and Sports Medicine under one roof Fully outpatient setting with a state-of-the-art, system-wide integrated electronic health record Multidisciplinary staff to manage acute and chronic conditions while promoting wellness across an entire panel of patients Responsibilities Work with the Program Director to develop and implement continuing medical education Supervise, educate, mentor, and evaluate Family Medicine Residents Deliver comprehensive, team-based care for a diverse adult patient population Manage acute and chronic conditions while promoting wellness across an entire panel of patients Compensation Highly competitive base salary + incentive compensation Salary: $275,000 - $285,000 commensurate or relative to experience Potential hiring bonus and relocation stipend Benefits Comprehensive benefits Relocation assistance Robust paid time off CME time and allowance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans Life and disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Eligible employees may qualify for forgiveness of certain federal student loans under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Shift & Schedule Minimal on-call obligations Light call schedule supported by nurse triage Off-hour coverage – Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only, with nurse triage Requirements MD or DO with NY State License and Federal DEA Successfully completed Family Medicine BE/BC in Family Medicine
