Residential HVAC Service Technician
A leading, family-owned and operated heating and cooling company in the Geneva / Chicagoland area is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join their team. Built on a foundation of integrity and doing the right thing for the customer every time, this company specializes in residential service, repair, and equipment replacement.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, and indoor air quality products).
Perform thorough system checks and present homeowners with clear, upfront options for repairs or equipment replacement.
Install or recommend indoor air quality (IAQ) upgrades, smart home devices, and duct modifications when beneficial to the client.
Provide an exceptional customer experience that upholds a 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' standard.
Participate in a rotating 24/7 emergency on-call schedule to support local families when they need it most.
Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician (mostly residential focus).
Strong technical knowledge of gas furnaces, central air conditioning units, and heat pumps.
Excellent communication skills—ability to explain complex technical issues to homeowners in a simple, consultative way.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required for the take-home van).
EPA certification required; NATE certification is a major plus.
