We are seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Charlottesville, VA area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics and technicians, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and maintain the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. This role directs the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, and stages vehicle repair and maintenance work. Service Managers drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide repair and maintenance information, ensure customer satisfaction with their in‑store experience, and strive to meet customer expectations. Qualifications To qualify for the Automotive Assistant or Service Manager role you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess at least 1 year of experience or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, or 1 year of experience or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or a combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
