PATIENT OBSERVATION LEAD (PART TIME)

Job Summary Lead Patient Observation associates and support the department’s managers in operating the Patient Observation and Transport Program. Responsible for safe, timely, accurate observation of patients who cannot be left unattended. Key Details Position: Part‑time PATIENT OBSERVATION LEAD Location: Ascension Seton Williamson – 201 Seton Parkway, Round Rock, TX 78665 (online applications only) Schedule: Part‑time; days and hours may vary. Rotating weekends and holidays required. Pay Range: $18.50–$20.00 per hour Requirement: Prior patient observation experience preferred; high school diploma or GED required. Training Provided Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead daily work of Patient Observation Associates. Communicate with associates, resources staffing, client staff, and leadership as appropriate. Coordinate associate assignments and, where applicable, provide float break coverage. Communicate policies and procedures to ensure compliance, standardization, and continuous improvement. Complete shift reports, break sheets, and patient assignments to maintain coverage and support. Perform all duties of a Patient Observation Associate as required. Cross‑train in Patient Transport and/or other departments as applicable. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Prior patient observation experience preferred.
