Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: General Carpenter in Facilities Planning & Management .

Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and experience in a related field. Must possess and keep a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications : Must have field training as a general carpenter. Be able to reason through existing structures and determine how renovations can occur in the field.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Provide carpentry work on projects as required.
• Perform repairs on structures.
• Completes assigned work requests.
• Promotes and uses best safety practices.

Trades Specialist IV (KC40/61121643/FTE-S01196P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Grade: GEN07 . Salary range: $40,086.00 (minimum) - $54,162.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
