Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state
• Experience delivering OT services within a school or educational setting
• Proficiency with evaluations, individualized education plans (IEP), and goal setting
• Strong skills in communication, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt strategies to diverse student needs and learning styles
• Comfortable working with both individual students and small groups

Responsibilities and Daily Duties:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ unique strengths and areas for growth
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans that support educational goals
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classrooms and therapy settings
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
• Maintain detailed records of student progress, participation, and outcomes
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or modifications
• Support the creation of an inclusive environment where all students can participate and succeed
