Radiologic Technologist

Novant Health Wesley Chapel Family & Sports Medicine is looking for a full-time Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in ambulatory healthcare.

This position works independently and in collaboration with physicians and clinical staff to ensure patients receive safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating X-ray equipment, and obtaining high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role also assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
• Experience: One year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
• Licensure/certification/registration: NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) Required NH Medical Group Office Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R).
• Additional skills required: Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.
• Additional Skills/Requirements (preferred):
• NH Medical Registry-eligible in Radiography by ARRT.
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(required). Required within 6 months of hire
• NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT (required)
• NH Medical Group
• Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(Required)
