Store Manager – Springfield, Tennessee Salary: $16.00 - $20.80 per hour. Reports to: District Sales Manager. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. The Store Manager oversees sales efforts across all departments, supervises overall store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability, and upholds company policies and standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Drive store sales and sales goals, focusing on company growth. Manage store assets and direct overall sales efforts. Train and mentor associates in sales strategies and skills. Maintain knowledge of all store aspects, including sales statistics, inventory, and expenses. Consult and collaborate with the District Sales Manager on policies, goals, and procedures. Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and standards. Recruit, hire, train, discipline, and evaluate staff. Manage payroll and scheduling to meet labor goals. Maintain store security and work with Asset Protection to prevent theft and reduce shrink. Communicate inventory movements and push inventory goals and strategies. Execute marketing and advertising plans and stay aware of customer trends. Provide outstanding customer service in accordance with the customer service manual. Ensure internal control procedures protect company assets and financial information. Supervisory Responsibilities Manage subordinate supervisors and non‑management employees, including Sales Associates, Hub Drivers, Assistant Managers, and Managers in Training. Lead the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit. Carry out hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewarding, disciplining, and complaint resolution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of customer service experience. 3+ years of management experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel. Experience managing and cultivating a sales team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Analytical thinker with business acumen.
