Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal Pay Rate: $40 to $50 per hour DOE Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA Job Type: Contract-to-Hire, Full-Time, Onsite for the first 45 days then hybrid 3 days onsite LHH is partnering with a national law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal on a contract-to-hire basis to support a busy business litigation practice in Downtown Los Angeles. This role requires a hands-on paralegal with strong trial preparation experience and the ability to manage matters from pleadings through trial. There is strong potential for conversion based on performance and business need. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial support Prepare for trial, including trial binders, witness files, exhibit preparation, and trial logistics Independently handle court filings and ensure compliance with deadlines in state and federal courts Draft pleadings, correspondence, discovery materials, and other legal documents Organize, maintain, and manage case files and litigation calendars Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel Support discovery processes Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal; strong business litigation background preferred Trial preparation experience required Paralegal certification required Strong knowledge of California state and federal court filing procedures Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with eDiscovery tools is a plus, not a requirement Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
