Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with valid state certification
• Previous experience providing school-based physical therapy preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and IEP requirements
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs and develop goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver targeted PT interventions to address gross motor skills, mobility, and access to the school environment
• Document progress and adapt plans in collaboration with IEP teams
• Provide in-services and recommendations for classroom and building accommodations
• Foster positive relationships with students, supporting them to achieve their highest potential
• Communicate regularly with families and school personnel to ensure continuity of care
