Laborer Position

Waste Connections is searching for a laborer at our transfer station in Wichita, Kansas.

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm

Every other Saturday from 9 am - 4 pm

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Help direct customers to appropriate areas at the site.
• Spotting trucks
• Cleaning equipment/pressure washing
• Picking up litter/grounds keeping
• General site maintenance duties
• Performing other assigned duties
• Ability to learn operating new equipment/forklift, leaf blower, and pressure washer.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• 2 years of laborer experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
• Reliability and punctuality is a must.
