CNC Mill Set-Up Operator Location: Orange, CA Pay Rate: $24.00 - $30.00/hour Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available (4x10 schedules: Monday thru Thursday 5:30 am to 4pm or 3:30pm to 1:30am) Full Time/Direct Hire Eastridge has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Orange, CA, that is hiring CNC Mill Set-Up Operators for their precision machine shop. In this role, you'll work on both metal and plastic parts, performing full set-ups, tooling, and inspections - a great opportunity if you enjoy hands-on, detail-oriented work. The CNC Mill Set-Up / Operator is responsible for setting up jobs on CNC vertical mills for metal and plastics components with tight tolerances. The position requires the individual to be able to take the program provided, set-up the machine, create tooling layouts and meet production set-up and run times. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years' experience setting up and programming CNC Mills Must be capable of using appropriate measuring tools and equipment Must be capable of choosing appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps and soft jaws Must be able to read, interpret and work from engineering prints, drawings and sketches Must be able to inspect and be responsible for the quality of your own work Brother, Daewood, Fadal Mill experience is a plus Work Environment Must feel comfortable with fast-paced environment and frequent changeovers Must be willing to operate Mills Must be able to work effectively with little to no supervision Must have great time management and problem solving skills Must have a drive to learn and grow Must be a Team Player Must be willing to train operators on running equipment Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, PTO Eastridge Workforce Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
