Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role involves providing holistic, patient-centered nursing care across the adult and geriatric populations, including patients undergoing open heart surgery. The RN will execute nursing standards, develop care plans, coordinate services, and delegate activities. Flexibility to float to other ICUs and medical/surgical units is required to meet staffing needs.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minnesota state nursing license; CPR (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; experience with fresh open heart surgery patients; proficiency in interpretation of cardiac rhythms; experience with Impella and balloon pumps; Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience; working history documented with current skills checklist pertinent to the specialty; two supervisory references with employment dates listed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Adult and geriatric population experience, including care for patients with Impella and balloon pumps; Epic EMR experience.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States. All return-to-office (RTO) requests must be included at the time of submission.
