Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in intensive care unit (ICU) care is sought for a position in a Minnesota healthcare facility. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care across various adult and geriatric populations, with a focus on advanced cardiac support. The RN will execute standard nursing practices, coordinate care, and participate in shared decision-making to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensure: Valid Minnesota state nursing license
  • Education & Experience: 1+ years of ICU nursing experience, proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system, experience with fresh open heart surgery patients, adult and geriatric patient care.
  • Additional documentation: Work history, current skills checklist pertinent to ICU nursing, and two supervisory references with employment dates.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA must be documented if applicable.
  • RTO (Reasonable Time Off) requests must be included at the time of submittal.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interpretation of cardiac rhythms
  • Experience with Impella and balloon pumps
  • Epic electronic medical record experience
