- Provide clinical leadership and consultation to a multidisciplinary school-based behavioral health team.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents in school-based and outpatient settings.
- Maintain a clinical caseload while balancing the responsibilities of team leadership and supervision.
- Provide clinical consultation and support around complex, high-risk, and crisis situations.
- Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, community agencies, and other members of the treatment team.
- Participate in psychiatric evaluation and treatment planning in collaboration with medical providers.
- Use in-person and telehealth services creatively and effectively to increase engagement and access to care.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation in electronic health records and required reporting systems.
- Provide weekly clinical supervision to school-based clinicians.
- Develop and support clinicians through thoughtful, strengths-based supervision, consultation, coaching, and mentorship.
- Help clinicians strengthen their assessment, treatment planning, documentation, crisis intervention, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Review clinical documentation to promote quality care, regulatory compliance, and appropriate billing.
- Support staff in navigating complex clinical situations, mandated reporting responsibilities, ethical issues, and professional boundaries.
- Participate in performance evaluations and ongoing professional development.
- Facilitate staff development and training, including the implementation of evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.
- Foster a team culture characterized by collaboration, psychological safety, accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning.
- Help oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of school-based service sites.
- Partner with school administrators, student support teams, teachers, families, and community providers to strengthen coordination of care.
- Serve as a key liaison between TGCW and host schools, helping develop strong relationships and identify opportunities to expand access to behavioral health services.
- Participate in candidate interviews and contribute to hiring and team-building decisions in collaboration with Human Resources and organizational leadership.
- Monitor scheduling, supervision documentation, timesheets, and other operational processes that support effective service delivery.
- Conduct chart reviews and participate in internal and external audits, including reviews related to NYS Office of Mental Health and insurance requirements.
- Represent The Guidance Center of Westchester at interagency meetings, school-based meetings, and organizational initiatives.
- Contribute to program evaluation, quality improvement, and the ongoing development of innovative school-based behavioral health services.
- Shape the quality of care delivered to children, adolescents, and families.
- Help clinicians grow into confident, skilled, and compassionate professionals.
- Build meaningful partnerships between schools, families, and behavioral health providers.
- Bring mental health services directly into the environments where young people spend their days.
- Help identify and respond to emerging needs within school communities.
- Contribute ideas that strengthen and expand TGCW's school-based programs.
- Make a meaningful difference not only through your own clinical work, but through the impact you have on an entire team and the students they serve.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective clinical supervision and mentorship.

- Proficiency with electronic health records and required clinical/reporting systems.
- Commitment to ethical practice, professional growth, and lifelong learning
- Communication - Building trust through openness, collaboration, and honest dialogue.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Current state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) required;
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families
- Prior experience working in school-based or community mental health settings preferred
- Experience conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and individual/group/family therapy
- Experience with crisis assessment, suicide risk assessment, and behavioral intervention
- Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and external service providers
- Experience implementing evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care approaches
- Training in crisis prevention/intervention, restorative practices, or behavioral management preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, since travel between school sites is required
