Estimator – Industrial Raw Materials

As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in partnering with sales, production, and external vendors to develop accurate cost estimates and ensure projects are executed effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of projects by analyzing specifications and requirements.
• Manage a high volume of estimates while communicating with clients, partners, vendors, and internal teams.
• Evaluate production methods to maximize the use of in-house equipment, ensuring quotes reflect cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
• Provide recommendations on materials and production techniques to reduce cost or enhance product quality, communicating suggestions clearly to the sales team.
• Input estimates swiftly and accurately into the company’s Management Information System (MIS).
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive and compliant purchasing.
• Collaborate with internal manufacturing supervisors and external resources to produce comprehensive project estimates.
• Revise estimates promptly in response to project specification changes.
• Present and review estimates with management as needed or upon request.
• Maintain open lines of communication with management regarding workload status and estimate progress.
• Uphold the company's quality, environmental, and safety standards in all aspects of work.
• Complete all required documentation and maintain organized departmental records.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating or project planning within the Industrial Raw Materials Industry a Must!
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with intermediate skills in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and follow-up skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
