Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of our insurance book, ensuring every client receives timely and thoughtful service.

Cultivate and grow our regional presence by identifying new opportunities for community partnership and business development.

Guide and support our sales staff, helping them refine their approach and hit their professional goals.

Manage carrier relationships to ensure we are offering the most competitive and reliable protection options to our clients.

Review complex policy renewals and advocate for the best possible terms on behalf of our long-term clients.

Foster an office environment that feels welcoming to both our staff and the neighbors we serve every day.

Requirements

Active Virginia Property Casualty insurance license.

Three or more years of experience managing insurance accounts or leading sales initiatives.

Strong command of agency management systems and digital document processing.

Demonstrated ability to negotiate with underwriters and resolve complex coverage questions.

Detailed understanding of local market trends within the Roanoke valley area.

Experience mentoring junior staff members or coordinating office workflows.
