Operations Supervisor

Job Title Operations Clerk Job Overview Support daily shipping, receiving, and fleet administration for a manufacturing operation. Responsibilities include generating shipping reports, handling inbound and outbound materials, maintaining records, and coordinating logistics with carriers. Responsibilities Run pick/pull/pack reports from the ERP system (AS400). Make shipping boxes from flat stock. Verify part numbers and obtain signed shipping documents. Pack and seal shipping boxes, prepare for logistics, and create shipping labels. Operate company vehicles to transport parts to carrier locations, including vendor deliveries and pickups. Pick, pack, palletize, and stretch wrap all customer orders due to ship each day. Create and maintain all shipping documents for customer orders. Arrange and schedule freight trucks to pick up customer orders. Invoice customer orders. Handle material processing as needed for manufacturing. Weigh (verify count) all product shipped to vendors and at receiving from vendors. Open, maintain, and receive products on purchase orders and work orders. Enter production data as required. Supply the assembly department with customer box labels. Receive and check in product from vendors, verifying against pack lists. Load and unload trucks. Receive incoming raw materials and supplies. Examine incoming materials to verify completeness and accuracy against shipping documents. Disassemble wooden or cardboard containers and remove materials. Count, examine, weigh, and check materials against shipping documents or transfer forms. Fill out reports documenting shortages and damaged material. Maintain records of materials and supplies received. Move goods to corresponding destinations or storage. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience preferred. Proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office. Experience with AS400 or similar MRP system is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work well at all levels within the organization. Motivated and able to handle changing priorities. Strong physical capability for lifting and moving boxes. Ability to bend, stoop, and twist while wrapping and banding pallets for shipping. Must be able to stand, walk for long periods and lift heavy items. Must be able to read and write English fluently. Some overtime may be required (Monday–Saturday).
