CNC OperatorAs a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in the operation and management of CNC equipment, contributing to our production processes with precision and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC equipment by loading material, starting the cycle, and unloading material.Stack and unload products according to instructions and handle materials as required.Develop competency to change inserts within six months.Develop competency to make offsets within three months.Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.Accurately enter production quantities into the ERP system.Input job data accurately according to MBP MMS requirements.Measure parts accurately per inspection requirements using various gaging and metrology equipment.Participate in team activities as needed.Serve as a 'go-to' person to accomplish work efficiently.Essential Skills1-4 years of experience in a related field.High school diploma or GED.Strong mechanical aptitude.Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Good written and verbal communication skills.Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of basic mathematics.Basic blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T.Proper measuring techniques with a variety of gauges.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior manufacturing experience in a job shop is preferred.Ability to access and handle ITAR 'Technical Data' is essential.Why Work Here?Join a company that values your well-being with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. This position is for the 2nd shift, from 4pm-2:30am, Monday through Thursday. Operate a variety of advanced equipment, including turning centers, automated cells, vertical machining centers, and inspection equipment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Lake Zurich, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
