Nurse Practitioner

Location: Atlanta, GA, 30303 Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Mental Health to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of patients Diagnose and treat mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including medication management and therapy Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health disorders and treatment options Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes Requirements Master's degree in Nursing Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a mental health setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
