Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join our traveling Physical Therapist team in Somers, NY at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active New York State Physical Therapy License required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience treating musculoskeletal conditions including back, neck, shoulders, knees, hips, and elbows. Experience managing a mixed adult caseload, ages primarily in the 40s–70s; experience with youth athletes is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage a productivity goal of approximately 14 patients per day with a two-patients-per-hour treatment model and 1:1 patient care. Current clinic average is ~13 patients per day. Experience using EMR systems; experience with Prompt EMR is preferred. Comfort with AI-assisted documentation tools is preferred. Therapists will use speech-enabled note generation to improve efficiency. Ability to collaborate in a team-based clinic with PTAs and techs supporting modalities and exercise assistance. Facility type: Outpatient clinic. Shift: Days. Schedule: Monday–Friday with flexible hours. Weekend rotation: Approximately one Saturday per month (about 4 hours); candidates preferring Monday–Friday only may be considered. Weekend availability preferred but not required. Guaranteed hours: 36–40 hours per week. Caseload model: 1:1 patient care, no double booking; goal is 14 patients per day, current average ~13. Floating: May be required to float to other clinic locations based on coverage needs. Location Highlights Somers, NY offers suburban living with access to regional outdoor and cultural attractions.
