Moog's Industrial Group is building a new U.S.-based Enterprise Ball Screw Division and is seeking an Enterprise Ball Screw Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to help establish and grow this strategic capability from the ground up.

As IPT Lead, you'll lead the development and deployment of Moog's sovereign ball screw engineering and manufacturing capability in the United States. Acting as the primary integration leader, you'll drive cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and supply chain teams to establish a scalable and sustainable capability supporting customers across industrial, aerospace, defense, and space markets.

To be considered for IPT Lead, here's what you'll typically bring with you:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
• Seven (7) or more years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, product development, or program leadership within aerospace, defense, industrial, or other highly engineered industries.
• Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong program and project management skills, including planning, risk management, resource coordination, and executive communication.
• Working knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, industrialization, and engineering execution.
• Systems-level thinking with the ability to balance technical, operational, and customer requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for manufacturing innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

It's preferred if you bring:

• Experience with ball screw products, precision mechanical systems, motion control technologies, or actuation systems.
• Advanced degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or Business.
• Experience building or scaling manufacturing capabilities, centers of excellence, or new product lines.
• Experience leading technology transfer, capability development, or workforce development initiatives.
• Experience leading new product introduction (NPI), industrialization, or production transfer efforts across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

As IPT Lead, you will:

• Define and execute the roadmap for establishing Moog's U.S. ball screw engineering and manufacturing capability.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and supply chain disciplines to deliver program objectives.
• Drive successful execution through effective planning, risk management, resource coordination, and milestone achievement.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer and capability-building efforts to develop long-term organizational expertise.
• Partner with product design teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Support technology roadmaps, capital planning, and long-term manufacturing capacity strategies.
• Develop and implement initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise engineering and manufacturing standards while supporting regional business requirements.
• Serve as the primary integration point across internal stakeholders, business groups, and external partners.
• Collaborate with teams across Space & Defense Group, Commercial Aircraft Group, Military Aircraft Group, and Industrial Group operations to ensure program requirements are effectively developed, communicated, and executed.
• Build alignment across geographically dispersed teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $140,000.00$180,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
