Weekend Shift Supervisor

KMB METALS in Willoughby, OH -We are a leading architectural metals fabricator specializing in high-precision components for high-end luxury residential projects. We are seeking a Weekend shift supervisor. (B-Shift 3 12-hour shifts: Friday to Sunday 6am-6pm overtime available) To support the Production Plant Manager in managing a manufacturing package or work order from manufacturing receipt through delivery. This is a working lead direct labor position. Requires little or no supervision to delegate and execute assigned work to 5-10 subordinates from start to completion of work orders. Role and Responsibilities Accomplishing department objectives by supervising staff and organizing work processes Implementing and enforcing systems, procedures, and policies Monitoring employee productivity by providing useful feedback and training Setting performance goals that comply with the organization’s plans and visions Ensuring compliance with legal and company policies and procedures Relaying information from upper management to employees and vice versa Handling customer issues that might elevate and require a supervisor for management Skills Excellent communication skills for effective listening and positive body language for giving feedback to employees and clients Good conflict resolution abilities to improve organizational productivity Strong leadership skills to create a supportive and motivating work environment Good interpersonal skills to identify and establish a purposeful team culture Outstanding time and priority management to manage intense workloads and time constraints Ability to solve problems effectively by choosing suitable solutions Qualifications Requirements 3+ years in Metal Shop experience (Required) 3+ years of supervisor experience (Required) Machinery, tools and blueprint reading experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Merritt
