Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team, responsible for delivering packages using a company vehicle across mixed urban and rural areas. This role requires adherence to safety standards, effective route planning, and excellent customer interaction while working primarily during standard business hours with occasional weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS and route software
Execute timely and accurate deliveries within assigned areas
Inspect company vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
Comply with all safety regulations and driving laws
Handle packages with care, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and moving items up to 150 lbs with assistance

Required Qualifications

Valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to pass a drug test

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in delivery driving
Knowledge of safe driving practices
Route navigation skills
Strong time management abilities
Customer service and communication skills
Problem-solving capabilities
