The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. CNAs play a vital role in promoting each resident's comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life while assisting with daily living activities and supporting individualized care plans.

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while preserving dignity and independence.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.

• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility.

• Take and record vital signs accurately.

• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the licensed nurse.

• Assist with meal service and monitor food and fluid intake as directed.

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.

• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs with professionalism and compassion.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.

• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Participate in care planning and team meetings as appropriate.

• Demonstrate respect, professionalism, and teamwork in every interaction.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current Montana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.

• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

• Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Ability to lift, transfer, push, or pull residents using proper body mechanics and lifting equipment.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with heavier transfers using appropriate equipment.

• Ability to respond quickly to resident needs and emergencies.
