Key Responsibilities Detailed Scheduling and Sequencing Builds and maintains detailed production schedules that reflect production plan priorities, asset constraints, labor availability, and material readiness. Responsible for generating, printing and monitoring work/production orders (WOs) according to the MPS work orders Optimizes schedule to improve production plan attainment, throughput, and manufacturing efficiency. Coordinates schedule changes with plant stakeholders to support effective execution and minimize disruption. Supports New Product Introduction work orders for evaluations / validation and material readiness in production or development stages Keeps planning parameters in JDE for the products assigned with the frame of the established inventory policies. Also, provides maintenance to JDE to ensure the proper functioning of MRP. Interacts with engineering to provide support with production orders of evaluations/validations that are necessary for his/her area. Analyzes and monitors the inventory levels to comply with the goals established in the business plans, as well as to avoid obsolete, surplus material. Performs daily monitoring of production activities (real against planned), through determined reports and through physical inspection of the production floor. Maintains priorities while expediting, when necessary, availability of production in process to ensure the maximum level of customer service. Interacts with the departments of purchasing, production, engineering, master planning, quality, etc. to expedite certain activities that could place the production program under risk. Maintains wide communication with planners / buyers of other Surgical Robotics plants, approves and coordinates the shipment of material to other plants, when necessary. Responsible for planning and monitoring work order supplies Supports preparation of information for reports Support other duties and projects assigned as needed Is responsible for the personal compliance with the federal, state, local and company regulations, health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures. Execution Monitoring and Exception Management Establishes effective communication with supporting functions to resolve issues that my impact the production schedule. This includes but not limited to purchasing, manufacturing, warehouse, planning, repair depot, engineering, quality, regulatory, customer service and document control. Responds to changes in equipment availability, labor, quality holds, and material readiness by adjusting schedules and communicating impacts. Provides schedule analysis and execution feedback to support continuous improvement in planning and plant performance. Participates in plant and planning review forums to provide transparency on schedule performance, risks, and opportunities. Escalate potential issues or opportunities to next management level and/or the STEM (short term escalation management) process. Education Qualifications BS/BA degree or equivalent, Supply chain or related field is preferred Required Experience And Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Operations Experience with ERP systems including Work Orders / Purchase Orders placement Experience with system-based MRP Knowledge of basic principles of master production scheduling (MPS), MRP, capacity planning, production planning and production floor control techniques Proficiency in Excel and analytical skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong sense of urgency and able to perform autonomously with limited supervision Strong understanding of manufacturing flow Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of driving efficiencies Strong written and verbal communication skills (in English) Preferred Experience in detailed scheduling and manufacturing execution SAP experience especially S4/Hana Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, etc) Experience in healthcare / regulatory dependent sector Capital equipment supply chain / planning experience Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ CSCP) Other Travel Requirements: This position may require up to 10% travel to the Milpitas, CA location. The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $75,000.00 to $106,207.50 Additional Description For Pay Transparency Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
