The role involves leading the finance function across the business, including accounting, financial planning, reporting, cash management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-unit hospitality, restaurants, or consumer-facing businesses, and will be adept at working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Finance include partnering with senior leadership on growth initiatives, building budgets, forecasts, and financial models, developing reporting and KPI dashboards, and overseeing financial systems and processes to ensure efficient scaling. The role also requires a focus on improving profitability through cost controls, operational analysis, and financial insights. The candidate should have a proven track record in senior finance leadership within a multi-unit environment, a strong understanding of financial management, and experience with ERP systems and financial technology. A CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred, and the role demands a leader who can balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, and who is comfortable working closely with founders, operators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
