We are hiring immediately for a Railroad Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Norfolk Southern Doremus, NJ auto facility in a recession‑proof industry. Overview This is an entry‑level position and no experience is required; we will train you for success. The schedule and rate will be discussed during the interview. Location PRS Auto (NS Doremus Railroad) 861 Doremus Ave. Newark, NJ 07105 Responsibilities Complete reports and customer reporting. Maintain yard inventory. Answer phones and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications Must currently live within a 45‑minute commute of Newark, NJ (out‑of‑area and relocation candidates will not be considered). Possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a 7‑year background check and a drug test. GED or high school diploma not required.
