Title: Mechanical Technician, Utility Reports to: Part Lead Location: Phoenix, Arizona (555 N, 55th Ave., Phoenix, AZ) Starting Pay: $27 per hour Compensation is based on relevant skills, experience, and assigned shift. This position operates on a rotating three-shift schedule. Employees assigned to afternoon or night shifts are eligible for shift premiums: Afternoon Shift: Additional 6% premium Night Shift: Additional 10% premium LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. Summary: As a utility electrician, you will provide electrical expertise and cost‑effective solutions for multiple utility facility operating and construction projects that meet budget, quality, and schedule requirements. Responsibilities Preventive maintenance execution to complete all PM tasks Troubleshoot abrupt breakdown of utility facilities Monitoring utility operation including lights, compressed air, HVAC, fire systems, generators, dock and regular doors, forklift/AGV chargers, water supply and sanitary, security, reporting, EMS‑Equipment Management System, and problem‑solving methodologies Follow work procedures and comply with safety & standards Maintenance cleanliness at work‑site in accordance with 5S3R Standards Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Electrician, Journeyman or related field or equivalent, relevant experience Experience: 1 to 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting as an electrical utility system technician preferred Skills: Exposure in electrical facilities setting, preferably in production facility Experienced with the handling of Utility Facilities Comfortable working independently and with others Results‑oriented and perseverant Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills Strong attention to detail Technically proficient and motivated to continuously improve Benefits Overview: 100% employer paid Medical, Dental, and Vision premium for you and your family 100% employer‑paid disability and life insurance Generous Paid Time Off / Holidays Opportunity to grow in diverse work environment with a global company 401k Retirement savings and planning with generous company match LGESMI is an Equal Opportunity employer that values the diversity of its workforce.
