Location: Newton, NC Pay Range: $18.50/hour starting pay Shift: 3rd 7pm to 7am 2-3-2 Rotating Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Material Movement Specialist to join the team. As a Material Movement Specialist, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have excellent teamwork, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.

What's the Job?

• Operate Forklift and Clamp Truck: Maintain and operate forklifts and clamp trucks safely, including pre-shift inspections.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory on production lines to ensure proper stocking levels and prevent downtime.
• Quality Control and Communication: Communicate quality control issues, equipment deficiencies, and safety concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Shipping and Receiving: Promptly pick up and stretch wrap finished goods pallets for staging and shipping, and receive incoming shipments.
• Waste Management: Assist in the baling of converting waste and maintain accurate records of parent rolls and waste.

What's Needed?

• Experience: Prior lift truck experience preferred.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Teamwork: Ability to work as a member of a team accepting direction from others.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and solve problems.
• Attendance: Consistent attendance and punctuality.
