Job Title: E-Coat Process Technician – 3rd Shift

Employment Type:  Full-Time
Location:  Kings Mountain, NC
Pay: $22.50 per hour
Schedule:  Sunday – Thursday | 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Overtime:  Must be available for overtime as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented E-Coat Process Technician to monitor and maintain chemical solutions, equipment, and process conditions to ensure quality and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust chemical solutions, paint materials, and deionized water levels
• Monitor temperature, flow, pressure, and other E-Coat process specifications
• Clean and recharge tanks, replace filters, and perform routine equipment maintenance
• Perform testing and accurately maintain written and computer-based records
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues
• Maintain inventory of chemicals, parts, and supplies
• Work with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and vendors to resolve process issues
• Follow OSHA, SDS, 5S, and company safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support continuous improvement and other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Basic math and data analysis skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders up to 6 feet
• Ability to perform fine motor skills required for lab testing
• Reliable attendance and ability to work required overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous E- Coat/electrocoating or chemical processing experience
• Experience with chemical analysis
• Forklift experience or certification
• Manufacturing experience
