YesPatient Types/Common Diagnoses: Could see any patient not requiring mechanical ventilation – CHF, Dysrhythmia, Chest Pain work up, Stroke, Abdominal illnesses and infections, Respiratory illness, Diabetes, AKI/CKD, ETOH withdrawal, IVDA, etc.Patient Ratios: RN: 1:4 is most common; could possibly go to 1:5 depending on acuity LPN (if applicable): 4:1 CNA: Days 1:12; Nights 1:16Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSSSkills required: Experience with traches, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, management of central linesSupport within the Department: CNA - ADL's Receptionist/HUC? Dayshift only Charge nurse – Resource to assist with all nursing care Phlebotomy?
